Sylvian Care Marks a Major Milestone with First Franchise Resale in South East London

Sylvian Care has completed its first franchise resale, with Sylvian Care South East London now operating under the leadership of franchisee Florentina Vlad.

The territory was previously known as Sylvian Care Bexleyheath. Florentina recently completed New Owner Training Week at the Sylvian Academy alongside Hani Ahmed, who has been appointed Registered Manager for the territory.

“I never thought I would end up in the care industry, but I couldn’t be happier that I chose this path,” said Florentina Vlad, franchisee of Sylvian Care South East London. “After more than a decade in the corporate world focused on talent management and people development I’m still looking after people, just in a different way.”

 

Florentina’s route into franchising began with late-night research into buying an existing business.

“One midnight I listened to a podcast. The speaker said people think they have to start a business from scratch, but you can also buy a business,” Florentina explained. “I started browsing platforms for businesses for sale and came across Sylvian Care. Something about it just clicked. I saw it was a family business, the website was professional, and I thought, I’d be proud to even talk to them and learn more.”

 

Florentina moved quickly to secure leadership for day-to-day operations.

Hani Ahmed is incredible. She came via recommendation and from the first conversations we were aligned on values and ambitions,” said Florentina. “We were already talking about how to run and grow the business. It felt like another sign that this was meant to happen.”
