On June 6th, Sylvian Care Chelmsford marked a significant milestone in their journey with the official launch of their business, dedicated to delivering bespoke, relationship-based home care services. The event, held at the vibrant Brewhouse & Kitchen on Duke Street, Chelmsford, brought together community members, professionals serving the silver industry, and home care enthusiasts to celebrate this new addition to the Sylvian Care network.

Something wonderful is beginning in the heart of Havering, East London. A new chapter in community care is being written by the newest additions to the Sylvian Care franchise family: Olu and Nikku, a dynamic husband and wife duo who are now dedicating their lives to enhancing the lives of others by delivering compassionate, personalised home care. With their recent acquisition of CQC registration, they are set to bring a fresh perspective on domiciliary care in their local community of Havering South.

Claudiu Dordea, Director and Registered Manager of Sylvian Care Farnham, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Stars of Social Care Awards in the "Inspirational Home Care Manager Award (South)" category. With their mission of “shining a light on brilliance in social care”, these awards are considered to be among the most prestigious in the industry, and for one of our newest franchisees to be shortlisted so soon is an incredible achievement.

We can’t believe it’s already been 10 years! In many ways, it feels like the time has flown by in a flurry of work and new offices. However, when we look back to Sylvian Care’s origin, we realise just how far we have come.

Launching a home-care startup is an exciting venture. The rewards of business ownership in this industry are not only financial. They can also offer personal fulfilment. But, as with most things in life, high reward comes with hard work and challenges.

Our Bracknell & Ascot office is marking their fifth year in business! Using their experience in the care industry, sisters-in-law Gabriela and Alina Moldovan launched the business to be closer as a family and now have their husbands working with them in the office team.

Brothers Dan and Paul Taherian reconnected through becoming managing directors of our Woking branch. Their partnership has resulted in a commitment to helping their care professionals settle from overseas here in the UK. Going above and beyond the call of duty, the brothers have provided a helping hand to people when they need it most – like mum of three, Georgina Chabata.

Throughout March, our Reading and Wokingham office volunteered their services as the team walked a mile a day, every lunchtime, in aid of a local charity. The day centre, run by the Wokingham and District for the Elderly (WADE), offers support to anyone over the age of 60 in Wokingham and the surrounding areas.

Sylvian Care franchisees come from all walks of life, and every possible background, but each and everyone has embarked on a transformational journey to an exciting and rewarding new career with our help. Every franchisee story is special and unique in its own way, but we are especially inspired by how Sylvian Care Bristol franchisee, Betty Ndewku, has combined both passion and purpose to transition from mental health nurse to home care business owner. She has now gained her CQC registration and can began her career with Sylvian Care in earnest, and achievement which highlights both her dedication and commitment to contributing to her community in a new and meaningful way.

Combining her innately caring nature and business acumen, Andrada Horvat and her partner Claudiu Dordea have joined our network by launching their very own branch in Farnham. Taking inspiration from her passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable living in her own community, the couple, who both relocated from Romania to the UK to complete their studies, are now celebrating as they ‘set up shop’ at their new premises.
