As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and proactive marketing professional to join our team for a 12-month role. Marketing Assistant

Job Title: Marketing Assistant (12-month initial contract with opportunity for permanent position)
Company: Sylvian Care Franchising
Location: Remote, with occasional in-person meetings
Salary: £26,000 per annum

Desired Start Date: 1st August 2025
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

What You’ll Learn & Do

As a Marketing Assistant, you will play an integral role in shaping our brand’s online presence and supporting our franchisees with their marketing strategies. Whilst you’ll gain from the knowledge and experience of the Sylvian team, you’ll also be able to initiate your own ideas, and unleash your creativity in this role!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Content Writing & Social Media Management

    • Take charge of our content creation, ensuring engaging and high-quality copy.

    • Develop and manage content for social media platforms, increasing brand awareness and engagement.

    • Create visually appealing graphics using Canva, to enhance marketing materials.

  • Marketing Strategy & Implementation

    • Supporting franchise business owners with their marketing activities.

    • Research and suggest new marketing opportunities to increase brand visibility.

    • Assist in rolling out our Business Launch Packs for new franchisees.

  • Website & Digital Marketing

    • Create and optimise website content to improve SEO and user experience.

    • Assist in digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing and online advertising.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and ideas driven individual who can take ownership of marketing tasks. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong interest in social media marketing, branding, and business development.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Experience using Canva or similar design tools.

  • A keen eye for detail and an ability to generate engaging content.

  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
